Albania Overboard has always been about more than just the swim—it’s about giving back. Over the years, we’ve supported various causes, from marine conservation to local community initiatives, including an orphanage in Corfu.

For the past few years, we’ve been working closely with the Ionian Environmental Foundation, helping to fund local environmental projects and raise awareness about protecting the Ionian Sea. Each year, we run a crowdfunding campaign alongside the swim to maximize our impact. Last year, we exceeded our target by 200%—and we’re aiming even higher this time!
